New Horizons – Introduction

Next Step together with  Values@Work and Amplify present the development program New Horizons. Designed for entrepreneurs, leaders of startups, managers and directors of established businesses that realize the need to grow and expand into new markets.

After successful introduction of the program on August 28th in Oslo, Norway, Next Step launches New Horizons program in Europe with this first seminar.

During this mini-workshop, the facilitators will each present and lead a short exercise around the key concepts of one module of the program.

This session will improve participants’ skills and confidence in at least one aspect of the following:

  • Increasing market access through customer insight
  • Growing a team for long term success
  • Requirements for an innovation culture and mindset

Workshop will be held from 8:30am – 12:00pm in Oslo, Norway (location to be confirmed) followed by a networking lunch.

New Nordic Horizons is a program built on many years of experience and proven processes. It was first introduced in Oslo through a seminar on August 28th 2013

During Oslo Innovation Week October 14-18th, we will offer a special mini-workshop during which participants will learn key concepts and practical techniques within the New Nordic Horizons Program. We will introduce:

Gaining customer insight for market access and scalable growth             Jennifer Vessels

Building the right a team, culture and leadership                                            Tone S. Ringstad

Developing an innovation structure and processes                                       Gunnar Storfeldt

The seminar will use examples from: Tandberg, Microsoft, 4 subsea, Aibel, Ericsson, and Wilh.Wilhelmsen.

Presenters:

Gunnar Storfeldt, Managing partner at Amplify, has worked with innovation for over 20 years. He has contributed to large innovation changes within: Ericsson, Microsoft, Siemens, Wilhelmsen and Skistar.

Jennifer Vessels, CEO of Next Step and Certified Management Consultant (CMC), brings over 25 years of successful experience in global sales, marketing and management.

Tone S. Ringstad, Managing Partner for values@work, has worked with values and culture for 15 years. She has contributed to major change projects in Wilhelmsen, Aibel, Wartsila, E- CO and Oslo University Hospital.

Designed to provide entrepreneurs and leaders within larger organizations with the knowledge, competence and confidence to innovate, expand their businesses and successfully grow revenues, New Horizons is modular development program which includes networking, workshops, mentoring and education. The eight modules on on topics of customer insight, team development, brand platforms, innovation, leadership, sales strategy and growth planning can be taken ‘standalone’ or within a program across 9 – 12 months.
